Time flies!

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I posted last! I had been doing so good at trying to be consistent! We've been busy though. I feel like we are in a nesting phase, which is funny because we aren't nesting for anything/anybody at this moment. I think it's just the realization that we have to try and make the best out of what we have and enjoy where we are on the road to wherever we are going, which geographically probably won't be anywhere soon with nothing short of a miracle :)

In the past couple months I have planted and been tending my first ever garden that I hope produces some nice crops for the rate in which it's taken off; we totally switched 2 of our rooms (the "man cave" which "we" renamed the Family Room, lol, and our bedroom) which was done on one of the hottest days of the summer which seems to be a theme with us and projects so far this season (i.e. the garden on Memorial weekend!); picked out and got all the stuff we still needed to paint the "new" bedroom (which I am super excited about getting painted and decorated since we've never had a "grown-up" bedroom);and I started my newest assignment for work (I work for a staffing agency so there is really not a whole lot of consistency, but I have been at the same place now for a month and really like it). These are just a few of the things I can think of. Oh, add in both my husband and dog going to Urgent Care within a day of each other back a few weeks ago (both are fine but it was truly a very odd coincidence), and getting a nice HUGE tax bill from the IRS because someone decided to either falsely use dh's SS# or someone made a data entry error, so we began fighting that. Did I miss anything?

In spite of all the good and bad lately, there is much to be thankful for. I truly feel God working in our lives, marriage, and all around us. I feel like the heaviness of IF is beginning to lift a little and true healing is happening within us. Yes, we still have our moments, and I don't know that those "moments" ever go away for anyone who has been through infertility, but the fewer we have, the better and more enjoyable life becomes. I have started doing a personal bible study on the book of Isaiah, which has been on my heart for some time now. Looking forward to what will come of studying this book.

As for Myth Busting Monday's, I have decided to make a MBM tab at the top of the blog and put links to the myth's there and as I post more, probably not every Monday as you may have noticed I haven't the past couple weeks, I will add them to that section.
